Our goal at
Fatima Fertilizer School is to provide an enriching, engaging, and challenging
curriculum that will prepare students for success while at Fatima Fertilizer
School and for the years that follow. We believe that students, parents, and
teachers all play a vital role in helping students reach their greatest
potential. Students are encouraged to take advantage of the many resources and
opportunities available to them including the library, computer labs, school
spirit days, student council, Peer Buddies, team building activities, after
school academic and athletic offerings, and teachers.
At Fatima
Fertilizer School, we recognize that social/emotional development is as
essential to student success as academics
The foundation
for our students’ success is based on the partnership among students, staff,
and parents. Active parent participation is essential to our success. Please
contact any member of your child's team or our dedicated PTO Executive Board
for information on how you can support our work. Teachers provide a nurturing
environment in which young adolescents can learn, take risks, and thrive. Their
work, in partnership with our parent community, has and will continue to
support us to fulfill our school mission:
“… to provide
a middle school educational experience where high academic standards challenge
all students to reach their full potential as life-long learners and creative
problem solvers. With a collaborative effort among school, family, and
community, we will expect increased independence and hold students accountable
to models of behavior that encourage core values promoting empathy and
responsibility. Our purpose will be achieved by fostering mutual respect in a
safe environment where the arts and sciences unite to produce young people of
strong, compassionate character capable of success in a diverse world.”
I look forward
to working with you and your children during the 2015-2016 school year. Please
do not hesitate to contact me at any time; our continued success is dependent
on your feedback.
